Question Insurance problem

Hi, I contacted one of the local go-kart tracks the other day to see if theyd let me and my mates have a ride on their track. Their response was it would probably be alright but because we're not a member of their club we would need our own insurance.
Has any one else come across this problem or atleast know what to do about it?

If they let you on the track that's a good thing, thats why VPBA and other clubs have MA affliation for insurance purposes. Then the track must be approved or certified to run pocket bikes then it's fullsteam ahead.

This bike puts out a genuine 14.5hp rear wheel and some increadable torque. Spend over $4,500 on this bike. Selling cheap - make me an offer...

Ok well this is the Vic karting association track in Bendigo. So if i join the VPBA it will fix the insurance problem? Also how do i go about getting the track approved?

Not that easy, VPBA have no intentions of racing in Bendigo so you would really need to get some numbers together and form a club in your area and go thru the process of MA etc.

oh ok well I just wanted to go for a ride on the track coz i have no where else to go, my bike isn't up for serious racing just yet. So it probably wouldn't be werth the hassle of setting up a club but maybe someone else from Bendigo will do it for me
