| | | First Dedicated Pocket Bike Facility in Australia
Hello to all SAMRA members,
The City of Salisbury has allocated land to SAMRA and is giving 110% support for the purpose of establishing a pocket bike facility which will be the only facility in Australia dedicated for pocket bikes. SAMRA also qualifies for State and Federal grants of upto 150,000 dollars. MA has been approached aswell and they are quite happy for SAMRA to be affiliated with them, the insurance cost per member would be $84.50 per annum also this affiliaton qualifies SAMRA for grants of upto 50,000 dollars. Alot of hours and hard work has gone into this but it can not be done by one person alone a club must be united and we will have our own track, remember this establishment will be owned by the members and can not be taken away. There is now an urgent need for a meeting of all members for full information and to keep this progressing. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity it will not happen again. It all boils down to the members of SAMRA. A meeting date will be set and everyone will be informed by post so it is not forgotten.
Regard's
Jim

Great news guys !!!!
When we first started we looked into alot of things, one of those was yearly grants up to $100,000..
So do you guys get to design your own layout?? How big is the block of land??

Great News JWS, Iam in constant contact with rover and know of the people that are/have done tremendous work to help pocket bikes here in SA, and would like to give my sincere thanks to them. I as always (as you know rover) will help out anyway I can..... except for that strange request of dressing like wonder woman while riding a goat singing the Mongolian national anthem
P.S. Rover will ring you tonight if ya don't ring me first, oh and work can wait so send anything that ya want put up on the site.
P.S.S. Looks like I can get that new bike rover, so warm up that place in ya workshop for me, so I can watch you build me a killer motor. (I will contribute my pleasant company as usual, you can do the building)

| | committee meeting
Hi again to eveyone.
There is some urgent SAMRA business that has to be addressed ASAP re the latest developements.
I have spoken to Paul K and we can use his premise again for our meeting which will be next Wednesday 11th Feb 2009 at 7.30pm. It would be really great if all committee and members could attend as there are some important matters that need to be addressed so that we can proceed in our venture to get a club track.
I urge all to make the effort if you are serious about our sport and club.
PS anyone who hasn't been to Pauls warehouse ring me and I can give you the address

Hi to all again
JSW is no longer acting on behalf of SAMRA in this venture and has no authority to do so.
Unfortunately he doesn't have the interest of SAMRA at heart and wants to close our club down.
He is infact a very hostile person to deal with in regards to this matter and is very unflexing in what he demands.( he has also resigned from SAMRA)
He is now going to take this proposal to the APBA.This was one of the points he tried to black mail myself with.
To the APBA I say " Beware ! " and if they wish to talk about gaining a track for all of us to ride on in the future that I will be at the Barrossa next weekend to talk with them on the possibilty of us uniting to achieve one common goal.
Also to all SAMRA members ,the planned meeting for Wednesday is still on and I welcome the APBA to attend too. Regards Andrew
