Endurance race results and the next ride night at the Pits

Hi to all
The 2009 Endurance race was another great event and I would like to thank all who participated ( Lap scorers too!) Also a big thanks to all at the Pits for letting us run this event on their track.
There will be one more ride night at the Pits .This will be the last one forever so lets make it a great night! The date for this is the 31st January 2009 and the track will open at 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Anyway here are the final results for the 2009 Pits Endurance Race.

1st Place- Bill White/ Tye Conneybeare 92 laps * 1st overall*
2nd Place-Mark Hicks/Derek Johnston 91 laps *1st over line@91 laps
3rd Place- Liam White/ Ben White 91 laps *2nd over line@91 laps
4th Place- Aiden Reis/Ryan Bruin 91 laps *3rd over line@ 91 laps
5th Place- Joel McWhinney/Keni Taufer 87 laps
6th Place-Bryson Conneybeare 85 laps
7th Place-Tamara Walker/ Nathan Kenny 74 laps
8th Place-Brandon Bruin/Andrew Reis 73 laps
9th Place-Clint Smith/David Dicmanis 72 laps
10th Place- Corey Arhms 45 laps
11th Place- Brenton Wickham 18 laps

Based on the length of the track being 520 metres long and the average amount of laps traveled 90 laps the average distance traveled was 46.80 km's
The average speed also being 46.80 kmph this being base on the fact that the race was ran over the hour.
Not a bad effort for all the cags that finished.

How does it work, when the most laps done isn't 1st, or are the other place getters just bad losers.

bill and tye started there 92nd lap before the timer went off so they completed it wen crossing the line im pritty sure thats wat happend

To clarify
Bill and Tye had done 92 laps and won on the amount of laps they done. There were 3 teams all tied at 91 laps....so to work out who gets what placing when it comes down to the wire the positions are then worked out by who (all that are tied on lap count)crosses the finish line first.

not bad for an old guy .lol.I would like to thank tye for his partnering me in the race and liam for building me a tuff 40 cc i think we were the only ones that did not need to stop for gas[ big thanks to andy ]for another great event and to the staff at the pits and to every one who helped out with the lap scoring thanks. and to every one who raced well done .and to ben and liam you guys need to pick up your pace .only kiding it was good to be on the podium with you guys

hmmm that grumpy fella sounds a bit cocky!! lol lol!! huge big thanks to andy and the staff at pt elliot they did a fantastic job also to all the riders now just to clear something up GRUMPY and tye combined weight 82kilo + 50kilo =132kilo mine and bens combined weight 105 kilo + 82 kilo =187 lols see wat im getting at?? only joking they rode very well as did marky mark and derick well done to all
