SAMRA news

Hi to all
Well, we are now really heading to the business end of the South Australian Minimoto Titles!
The Racing held so far has been totally awesome and the quality of competition has been as good as any held in Australia. All who have supported the SA Titles are truly to be commended for their participation and sportsmanship.
I really do look forward to the next round, the 5th and Final round Boral Quarries round to be held at Pooraka on the 8th of November 2008. I ask that all who have competed in the SA Titles for any of the rounds try to make this Round as it will be an event not to be missed. I say this as I look at the Leaders Board and there are a few classes that will be closely contended coming right down to the wire and will be decided in this last round.
Also just a reminder that SAMRA will be having the Trophy presentation for the SA titles at Pooraka November 22nd 2008 at the track .This will also be a Xmas show too, with there being a few novelty events being scheduled. Presentations to start at 5.00pm and riding will be after.
At the Last SAMRA Committee meeting there was a discussion about JUNIOR STANDARD CAG and it was voted on and decided by the committee and members that JUNIOR STANDARD CAG is to be that. It is to be raced as a true standard class and the bikes are to remain as they are from out of the box. This includes the exhaust which is to remain standard too. No performance up grades allowed.
This Decision was made on the basis to help better develop the juniors .The seniors will remain the same in Standard Cag no changes to that class. I will change the rules on the site as soon as possible…That reminds me too these changes are for our next season and the remaining round will stay as it is.

Hi Andy

We have large speedway commitments on both dates. So we wish the best to all competitors for the final round. And we will catch up as soon as speedway slows down a bit

regards
Dave

No worries Dave
My Ryan will be happy to hear...no Ben ..lol...Things are looking pretty good for Ben Re: the State titles..as he can drop the last round.
There will definitely be some tinware waiting for him at Pooraka that will put a smile on his face.
The Elites have been a pleasure to watch this year

Thanks for the work rover, ya hit me up with a bit this time

Anyway just updated the site for those that are interested.

Latest news here... SAMRA Latest News

Download the round 5 S.A. titles nomination form here.... SAMRA Event Calendar

And The Latest S.A. title race results here..... SAMRA Race Results

As I have said before if you think the is a mistake with the race results contact rover, so he can pass the corrected info on to me. I add all the results up and move rider placings around with the info I receive. Although I take my time working the final results and placings out, I do it while drinking as its a very boring job LOL, so check carefully. One thing I have noticed while doing this though that has been of interest, is that I get to become very familiar with how riders are performing, and would like to pass on something to all. The are some riders that although on the day do not finish in high positions, are moving up the ladder as they consistently turn up to all events.... Moral of the story is Consistency is a big part of your results.

Anyway rover if I manage to get through all 5 rounds without making a mistake can I expect a Crissy present......EEEErrr mmmm I like those new DMs that Danny has but a Stamas, GRC or Phantom would be great to. If you cant decide I will not be offended if you got me one of each LOL.

Only kidding ya rover......now please someone restart his heart LOL
