Thumbs up SAMRA Race wrap up!

Hi everyone
I would like to thank everyone who competed at the first SAMRA race meet held at Pooraka last night and all of the track staff for making this event possible.
It was a huge success judging from the smiles and turn out We all hope this is the first of many to come.
The racing was terrific to watch in all classes and it was great to see some old and new faces.
I also would like to congratulate :

Brandon Bruin number 69 for his win in Open water cooled on his Ozminimoto bike and Aiden Reis 46 for his 3rd place in junior cag.

As part of this thread I encourage all riders who have placed in their various events to post about their successes and disasters and take time to promote people who have helped them eg sponsors, parents, fellow competitors, etc, so that everyone who looks on here can see that the racing is alive and kicking in SA!
Plus you built the bike....You raced the bike....you deserve to have bragging rights!

Hi everyone,
last night was a blast and a fairly good turn out. I had lots of fun racing with the water cooled bikes. I couldn't believe that Liam still raced with out a finger nail. It was a good meet overall and hopefully we can get some more people racing. See you all next fortnight.

thanks to the staff rusty and gavin for there terrific effort in the SAMRA race meet on sat night the show was run very poffesionaly and alot of effort went into a great night, the use of the flags and lap boards went down well and was a move in the right direction , also a big thank you to ANDY for the time and effort he put into gettting all the race results correct and the way SAMRA ran there first meeting was great step towards the future of racing here in SA . Liam well done to continue on even after that bad finger injury , the racing in all classes was a realy high level and im sure there is a few people reading this forum in SA that maybe are considering returning to racing here at pooraka but for reasons they have yet to return well come along and put yourself up against some of the very best riders in SA
