We've had to make one admended/addition to the rules.
The track owner Pete, has notified me that neighbours(distant) of the track have concerns with the amount of noise that is being generated from the track and complained to the local council.
With that said Pete has requested that 'Mufflers' should be fitted to reduce noise to make sure that complaints are kept to a minimum to allow the success of Pocket Bike racing to continue for future competions.
I appologise for any inconvenience caused to the riders currently using stinger pipes instead of silencers/mufflers. But to keep everyone happy and to allow future big race events, please can we all comply with this ruling.
Thanks
Jake

We have 23 Nominated as of todays count, with the junior class getting bigger and bigger.
The Pro CAG is going to be competive with many of the best locals and Brissy/GC riders already nominating.
If you require a nomination form PM you email address and i'll shoot one off to you. You can PM me your details(Name/Number/class) for the nomination but you will still need to send off the Nom form and have it in by the due date.
Accomodation is filling quick at Turtle Sands, a favourite amongst the last big race day visitors, although there are many other local places to stay.
Camping is another option and is becoming popular as no need to set up in the morning.
Any questions feel free to contact me on 0415630449 or PM me.

With added demand, more nominations And a couple of great sponsors keen to get behind Junior MiniMoto-Mavin Industries & Capitalcorp Finance plus Evie from Pocket Racing Aust. a descision has been made to add 2 more classes for the Juniors.

1/Junior Pro CAG- Will be run to the same rules as Pro CAG but for under 16yrs of age. and for all CAG's that dont meet the Junior CAG rules ie *not running chinese tyres and full circle cranks.

2/ Junior ELITE- Will be run to the same rules as Elite but for under 16yrs of age.

This descision wasnt made as rule change but to also keep inline with the growth of the sport as the bracket will have needed to be split with nominations being in excess of our planned limit for grid numbers. Its allows the current trend in mods of tyres the abiltity for riders to compete in a junior class instead of running with the senior riders, with their tyres, mods and fuel of choice.
Who would have thought PmT's and SAVA tyres would have grown in such popularity, at the time the rules for the brackets was made, majority of riders seen them as an unfair advantage and was deemed excessive in price for most and didnt want them allowed.
How times had changed in only such little time.

Also a reminder nominations close the 8th Sept otherwise a rear of grid penalty will occur, this is to allow the few who are doing the organising to be up to speed with the gridding sheet and have everything set up on the day as to not have any delays.
thanks
Jake

41 entries so far for bundy and we still have 8 days left for nominating, so with the expected late influx its looking great for numbers for all classes.

Reminder-
For those out there that are going to turn up on Saturday for racing without nominating, feel free but please note that "You Will" be postioned rear of grid for all 5 rounds. Unless your so confident and feel you can win from the rear, I suggest you nominate now to get a fair run in positions even accross the board.
The gridding sheets will be done up Thursday night and will not be changed. Late noms will be tacked onto the bottom of the grid sheet. If we did not have a dead line for nominations it would be late afternoon for racing to comence. And with so much work to be done on the friday and Saturday leading up to the first race, the last thing the volunteers need is extra work.
Thanks
Jake
