Practice nights at Kartatak

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone in the Sydney region is interested in going down to Kartatak for practice riding. The track is a small track and is more suited to cags than midbikes. Its more of a technical track with bends more than straight out speed.Top speed I suppose you would get on the straight would be 40Kph more or less. You can run pocketbikes there from Mon-Thur.Cost is a once off $5 fee for your license and then a $20 all day pass which also includes helmet hire. You basically share the track with Karts but not at the same time. You alternate 10 min for karts and 10 min for bikes but usually not that many people turn up for the karts during weekdays.Iv'e been going on Thursday nights and last night I got there at 6:30 and kart riders didn't turn up until 9:30 so I had the whole track to myself for all that time.I think if we can get enough people there we should be able to get a weeknight dedicated for bikes. If you think the Butterfly farm is to far then this isn't a bad alternative. http://www.kartatak.com.au/contact.htm

Yeah i'd be interested in having a go at it. At least we don't have to worry about it raining out.

Good on ya gazza. We should be there at around 6:30-7:00.Make sure you raise the height of your pegs as high as possible for that track because a few of my mates that have got the same bike needed to do that to ride on that track.See you there

No worries gazza. You can ride there anytime Mon-Thur.I think they open from12:00pm to 10:00pm.Some times they book part of the night for the karts. To be on the safe side just ring them before you leave and ask them if the track is booked out.We went down there tonight and no body showed up to ride the karts at all. There was only three of us and we had the track to ourselves. We're going again this Thursday night. The track is booked up to 7:30 pm for the Karts then we can ride.Come on down as I am trying to get enough numbers so I can ask the owner to dedicate a night for pocketbikes.Again I must advise this track is most suited for air cooled cag bikes that are geared 6/68.The only bummer is that you have to carry your bike up a flight of stairs
