Unfortunately you will get the same or other negative responses from the other tracks. Insurance is always the biggest brick wall, and other circumstances block venues from access.

Riding on the Gold Coast bike circuit at Runaway Bay is a definite No-No as it is not approved for this activity and if caught you will be in trouble.

Currently you can ride your bikes in thousands of locations on the Gold Coast - In your back yards! (As long as a neighbour does not complain about the noise)

Cyberbikes track at Willowbank is a bit of a trip for Coasters, but at least you can ride legally, on a real race track and with people around to help and support you in the sport.

Just last week we saw a guy in WA on TV getting busted on a PB riding illegaly - cost him $300 and no license for 3 months - and he got off lightly

Check out www.cyberbike.com.au for details about riding and/or racing in a controlled and legal environment

Cheers
Alan

Insurance is no problem if you have a club and get affiliated with our group of affiliated clubs, The Melbourne Minimoto Club, ACT Minimoto Club and NSW Minimoto Club, and more clubs joining soon.
We have been able to obtain an insurance that will cover your public liability problems.
Go to www.mmmci.com.au
and email the secutary or myself the treasurer for full details with help to get started.

The Melbourne Minimoto Club has now received the okay from The Australian Karting Association to hold race meetings at two of Victorians premier Kart tracks, Port Melbourne outdoor track and Pucapunyal.
More to come online soon.

Thanks for the info, especially about the insurance. I've emailed the secretary about it already.

Okay so many weeks later, no reply from the other kart tracks or Melbourne Minimoto Club. Been down to Willowbank twice now, it's worth the trip.

Hi Squeeby,
Sorry if you haven't had a reply from the secutary.
I know he has been very busy with organiseing the race meeting at Port Melbourne.
Email me your details and I can send some info off today.
