i heard otherwise, its true they have been considering it ....
down at the westgate, i heard that they want to see the sport grow a little more ad are not sure if many riders would go down there, apparently they want to see and here the pocket bike community speak for themselves....
so i reckon if we get everyone to speak out we can probably see another track (eg, like todd rd) opening, its not about the insurance, thats a load of garbage.... are you telling me that in the whole of Victoria there is only 1 pocket bike track....thats rediculous, come on, whats GPTC doing right that no one else isn't
WE ALL HAVE TO SPEAK UP AND OPEN TRACKS OURSELVES,,,,MAKE PEOPLE HERE US

maybe you didn't take in what i said last time, i was the one who asked them about it, they debated it for a while and then came out with "the insurance is too much". They know that people will pay good money to ride their pb's on that track so im still dazed about it, if a place like gtpc was able to get insurance for it then surely the todd road place can do it, i reckon they are just making up excuses

thats exactly right....
if gptc can organise insurance and now be raking in all the profits, are
you telling me that other tracks cant organise someting along the same
lines, it makes me wander if any insurance is even at the track....
it also makes me wander if you can get insurance, im really not understanding the situation....
i reckon that there isnt even insurance at gptc and even if there is, they'd only ring the ambulance up if something happens and thats it....what else do ya need..............????
BECAUSE at the track if you read carfully on the grass at the front of the track it says RIDE AT OWN RISK........which really means, if something happens your at your own risk, where not here to help....ALSO NO MARSHALS OR FLAGS LIKE THEY HAVE OVERSEAS.......................................... ............anyway i could go on forever just get em to open more tracks its getting boring!!!!

i know how you feel
and yes, you are right, there is no real insurance at gptc, you basically sign a form stating that "i will not hold gptc responsible if i die or get injured out there"

at least it has more safety than the abandoned parking lot outside the closed down resteraunt that i live near, think about that...

what safety does gptc have????
marshals....proper tarmac....the grids are all faded and the red f1 strips on the sides of the track, u cant even see some of them....
is takes 1 professional track to wipe that place out, even an average joint would do....

nationals!!!!
lets get the victorian titles up and away first....
u need at least 3 or 4 tracks up and away in victoria or melbourne at least b4 you consider Nationals,
anyway ive race over seas, biger bikes not just pockets, but i can safely say they run everything professional.
if ppl from there came here and saw the way we ran this sport they would laugh at us and tell us that we dont have respect for the sport....
