I do support them, I speak of them very highly in my track reviews and try organise events. I've recommended so many of my friends to South Morang that go quite regularly now.

But I want to be able to organise a different sort of environment to race, it'd be great to legally get a car park to race through as i've seen on youtube (not sure if its actually done legally)

The point is that the council will not help you. They dont care if you ride on the roads because the fines raise revenue and you are really only risking yourself. No one would be stupid enough to let you ride without paying because you can get sued if anyone falls off and hurts themselves. Whoever owns the property being private or the council will be liable. YOU ARE DREAMING!!!!!!

Send a message via MSN to mac90
the public liability & insurance issues make it near impossible even if you find someone willing enough to let you use their private property the risks of someone being injured & suing them is just too high

the main thing is to support minimoto/pocket bike clubs

if pocket bike clubs had the national member base & affiliation, like that of kart clubs & the aka then they would have council, government support grants, donations etc.. & have the funding to have their own tracks & purchase property to build tracks

Hi Mini
I understand that you are after another place to race at....but....one point would like to make is,that If we all want our minimoto races to be taken seriously by the various powers above, that the races should be held at a venue that really do promote pocket bikes as a true form of racing.
As Mac 90 has said it is better to support the clubs and tracks that support us.
