attention newcastle riders ,,,we may have a track

this is an expresion of intrest for any 1 north of sydney
who wants another track in nsw

since the newcasle forum is so slow and hasnt had a hit in months

.
i was wondering if continuing to get on a track may be in vein we have a track intrested but with out numbers it wont work

so many of our members have lost intrest due to the time taken to get a track behind us:

We dont heeh.. All efforts to secure a track fizzled out

I think the track in question at the time was an indoor go cart track,which wasnt that great of an idea with a w/c bike anyways..

I mentioned this track to Bollo last week and he said something about their insurance not covering pocket bikes. I know Tony at WCR is talking about getting indy up to scratch for kart and pocket bikes and sharing their insurace cover but someone would have to talk to the Cameron Park folk about it. One thing though, its a bit long for pocket bikes, the starights will kill the motors with all the high revs.

camron park wasnt exactly hospitable in allowing any 1 but go carts on the track
when approched the wanted $1200 per day + supply marshals and fire extinshers, get the approprate sports and rec approvals and supply your own insurance
and when all that is acheved u have to fit in around the gocart calender and the motards
also they cant do any night meets as council wont allow it to keep local wingers happy
