Flick, well done. this pic i allmost identical to my cones, the most critical section is the inner side ie; say you bore the 20 mm hole straight through inner to outer, what you must do to eleiviate the unwanted backpressure is to machine a progressive tapper to the inner side starting at 30mm and tapper down 35 degrees to meet the 20mm outer. by doing this will only assist in less power loss not noise volume.

as i mentioned before, these cones do work quite well. when you first fit one of these start the engine and let it idle then put the cone on the end of muffler by hand and you will straight away notice the noise level drop by atleast 50%. the total length of this cone should be atleast 70mm long.

Flick, i sell these cones for $40 which includes postage, as you may know there is a bit of time needed to machine this from aluminium bar stock.

the cones will outlast a muffler. they are machined from aluminium solid bar, they are a press in fit or you can also add a small lock screw for safety.
