Hi Brian
When we eventually do race our Elite bikes it should be a very interesting race.
Over all we have a very good cross section of bikes competing ,now with your Polini weapons in the equation this could become like a Ford V Holden race,or Blata V Polini in this case. We also have the Chinese bikes in with a chance ,with both Cag and Blata reps also performing well.
So what does this all mean, well the way I see it ,it should make for some very close racing in this class and anyone who does well in this class is truly a deserved place getter.I can`t wait |

Hi Rover.
Yes it is great to see the Elite Air/C class is finally taking off with some worthy warriors involved!.Watching Ronin,Yourself and Josh duke it out on the track recently was great with a few more riders it should be evn better.
MPE's newest sponsored rider in the A/C Elite class is Graeme Cederblad.Graeme will be competing on a 911 Rep fitted with an MPE Polini Air cooled motor....Although Graeme cannot compete in all the scheduled race meets due to work commitments,he rides hard in those he is able to make it to !..
Let the fun begin !! LOL
It should make for some great racing during the year !
Cheers Brian

i have seen a few modified heads for the chinese aircooled 2/3 piece cylinders that i hear worked well & started putting out good power ada & pbu have their own but ones less heard of like the trevor simpson headkits for reed valve cag engines & the like were usually only used by the more compeditive teams & dealers
its good to see things like this & what can be done with hybrid style parts on a chinese crankcase etc...
i think i hav a pic a m8 sent me of a xcarter trevor simpson headkit cag & will see if its ok to post as he just had a break in & a few of his personal bikes were stolen

Hey mac90.
These Elite motors will Kill a Cag motor regardless of what cylinder head is fitted to the Cag.We are talking about the good gear Euro cylinders here not Chinese Cag "Crap" LOL.
Dont get me wrong we run & race a modified Cag that whips every other Cag in SA and has run with the best in Vic.,but these new MPE Elite Motors will EAT Cag motors for breakfast !!!
Ps. The MPE Polini Hybrid motor is to be run initially with a Polini Race exhaust and 14/14 Carby, after a couple of race meets we are going to be fitting either a Dellorto 16mm or Dellorto 18mm carby !
Cheers Brian

Hi Mac 90
Brian talks the truth here in regard to the elite bikes, here in crow eater land some of us have developed the cag motors as far as we can go ,I myself have a aircooled cag powered sidecar that has been known to beat watercooled powered sidecars, but however the engines we now are looking at racing create even more HP .
Brian congrats to Graeme, now entering the world of aircooled elite,he too is a worthy warrior .I think I can speak for Ronin and Josh as I say we all look forward to racing him.
Can`t wait to race against the MPE Polini as well.

i understand the MPE & some other elite bikes engine is somthing again & another class compared to what can be done with chinese stuff,
but depending on the budget anyone with a chinese aircooled rep engine can scorce what they can afford with blata polini parts that will fit their chinese crank case things like topends pistons clutches reeds etc ...within a limited budget on a chinese frame & still be competitive b4 going to the expense of full euro bikes
that was the jist of my post

Ronin,
I have something that may interest you.
This one should beat anyone else on an aircooled.
Altered the post.
Sorry Brian, didn't even look at the orginal post to see where I was.
Won't happen again.
