ARCHERFIELD NEWS 26.6.09
It seems our near misses and good luck with the weather has come to an end. Last Sundays’ Pocket Bike meeting was cancelled due to rain and several of our car events over the past weeks also fell victim to foul weather. Let’s hope things improve shortly. As we are now based at the track, you can call us directly on 3277 9877 if rain is threatening.

We start our big twelve round series on the 5th July and it will conclude 12th December. Our last meeting for the year will be 20th December. We are planning a full day of Enduro’s for that day along with our Christmas Party and Trophy presentations.

The twelve round series will be named The Motul South East Queensland Championship. I am hoping this series will be our best ever as there will be trophies, products and cash up for grabs. The cash payout is as follows:

Best Presented Bike Team - $100
Best Presented Kart Team - $100
Best Presented Bike - $50
Best Presented Kart - $50
Most Improved Junior (Bike or Kart) - $50

Also any category that maintains a minimum of 6 or more competitors throughout all rounds of the series, will go into a draw. At series end, one lucky category will be drawn and the top five place getters in that category will receive cash prizes as follows
1st - $250, 2nd - $150, 3rd - $125, 4th - $75 and 5th - $50.
With the series package now in place, it is up to you the competitor, to support the series as best yo9u can to ensure the category in which you participate has the best chance of taking home the money.

Don’t forget the 100 lap Kart meeting on July 18th which pays $1000. Nomination forms will be able to be downloaded from our website Home.

We wish all Queensland competitors heading to Woollongong this weekend for Round two of the Australian Mini Moto Titles, good luck and a safe journey. I’m sure you all will do very well.

Regards,
Barry
