Another huge weekend for the Pro Dirt Team. We ran a Burnout Comp Friday night , practice as usual on Saturday and racing all day Sunday.
On Friday Night our main attraction at the Burnout comp was the 2200hp Kenworth truck THE BANDAG BULLET. If you havn’t seen this awesome machine doing burnouts, you should make the effort to do so should the opportunity ever arise. Knowing the crowd pulling-power of the Bullet, we had arranged two motard demonstration races during the night which went well and exposure for the category was enormous. We will most certainly repeat these demo’s when the opportunity arises.
Sunday was another huge day of racing as well. More and more new riders are coming to Archerfield each meeting. That’s very encouraging for the industry and sport. Apart from the 36degree heat, the day went off exceptionally well. Full results from the meeting will be posted on all websites as usual.
We would like to take this opportunity not only to wish our riders who are travelling to Victoria this weekend to contest Round 1 of the Australian Title, good luck, but to wish all competitors well and for those who are travelling to and from the venue, please have a safe journey.
To sum up, after watching both our Junior and Senior competitors making their final adjustments to their machines in readiness for next weekends’ battle, I can’t help but feel sorry for those poor old southerners!
