| Wont start, Fuel Leaking
Hey,
My pocket bike isn’t running. The bike started to run out of fuel while I was riding it yesterday so I pulled over, put more fuel into the tank and it wouldn’t start. The plug is sparking; nothing was obstructing the fuel line. An official helped me out and after he took apart the carby he found out the float needle wasn’t in properly so we reattached that and then put everything back together and it worked. I did another 30 mins practice then I pulled over and stopped the bike and went home. After i got home I wasn’t able to start the bike at all. I took the carby apart but everything was in the right place. And it still wouldn’t start. When I was putting the float bowl back on I rounded the top of the bolts so I couldn't get it all that tight. Well I didn't think it would be a problem but now it seems to be leaking gas from where the float bowl joins the carby. So obviously it won’t start. I have been able to get it to start for maybe 1 second but it dies straight away. Anyway I have checked all the normal things, spark, fuel lines, carbys clean ect and I can’t find any other reason then the float bowl leaking this that the bike wouldn’t be starting. What do you guys make of it? Thanks.
Tom
