Piston port power key??

Does anyone know if you can put a power key into a piston port??
i have one to fit to my cateye and want to know if i can do it???

RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
yes, of course you can fit a timing key to a piston port engine, your engine is a 2 stroke as is the cag engine for example.

You Should See Your Stock Woodruff Key.(Remove And Replace With Rocket key)

Put Flywheel back On...TIGHTLY.

Followed By The Pull Starter.

sorry scottie buts thats wrong

it's different for a piston port bike.

the order is like this:

remove cvt

remove the clutch and then flywheel housing

remove flywheel

remove stock woodruff key (looks similar to timing key)

insert new key

reinstall flywheel

reinstall flywheel housing and then the clutch

reinstall cvt

which way does the key face on a piston port??
towards the exhuast or the carb????
