PB JUST WONT GO... PLEASE HELP !! WONT GO OVER 4000RPM

Hey, i got a pb for xmas and 48km just wasnt quick enough, so i took it to the pb pro shop and fitted, racing exhaust, race carbi, front and rear gears, new clutch and a new spark plug, after these mods it was hammaring, after 20 min of use the was just gutless, really wants to get up and go on take off but then loses it when opening the throttle, i have since had it in pieces and everyting is still is perfect condition and it also has the pro shop thinking... anyone had similiar problems or can suggest anything it would be greatly appreciated

RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
mooks, is your fuel tank clean inside? have you replaced the stock fuel filter and also the fuel line? i would check and replace these firstly as this may be your problem.

Re: PB JUST WONT GO... PLEASE HELP !! WONT GO OVER 4000RPM

 Is it hard to start as well? If u already have'nt , u should realy change your standerd cheap crapy spark plug, they dont last too long & they r not made for high reving beasts like yours!.Get a hoter high preformace plug like NGK with an 8 rating. They should be pre gaped, ready to put in & kick her in the gutts.
Good luck

Maybe 20 minutes of hard racing to too long for it. A/C bikes will loose performance if run too long and get too hot.

Does it go Ok when first started, ie, cold, or is only after it gets hot.?

''Maybe 20 minutes of hard racing to too long for it. A/C bikes will loose performance if run too long and get too hot. ''

It would still rev fine if it overheated, it just wouldnt have any decent power.

I agree with the other people, make sure the fuel tank-fuel line and filter are clean.

What colour is the spark plug? if its the stock one get a NGK or similar plug.

Take off the air filter, start it on the stand and see if it revs out fine. If it revs out, clean the air filter and re-install (DONT ride it without the filter!!)

Do you have a picture of the carburettor or bike? it may have gone out of tune if it has mixture screws/
