nah its ok lol im now on my m8s comp and it works
just another question i have taken my carb apart before and the float on mine looks to be the other way around. on yours the float has a small little bump facing up and on mine the bump is facing the bottom of the bowl. what way is it meant to be by the way it has ever been opened before this.

thats a CAG carby isnt it??

i think i remember that one, on the inlet you can open it up a fair bit to come inline with the casting ring, use a taperd tool bit and sand it smooth - from my experience i found it worked really well - once you add the boost ports lift the exhaust slightly actually set the squish with a squish ring (and measure it using soft lead wire). this work really well with the fat boy pipe for lots of low down grunt. worked well with a 72kg rider......

oh - and dont forget to port match the damn thing, they are always so far out it isnt funny.

now if you could just do this with a delorto that would be super helpful....

There's one surefire way to find out. Put it back together and see if it works. You'll probably find it works no matter which way you do it.
