CANT REMOVE FLYWHEEL !!!

hi i am installing an advanced timing key in my 49cc cag, the instructins say:

Remove the retaining nut on the flywheel and with a little bit of pressure the flywheel should come off.

i have removed the nut but the flywheel wont budge. ive tried everything, even getting some help to yank it off, but i cant do it.

Any tipz on how i could get it out would be appreciated

A flywheel puller is your best option but as you don't have one a little tip that worked for me was to give the crankshaft a little love tap with a large star screwdriver and a hammer being careful not to hit too hard. tip: make sure the screwdriver is large otherwise you might damage the thread of the flywheel bolt. After you've done this then gently wedge the flywheel off with a flathead screwdriver even from both sides of the flywheel.

dude im sorry to say it but the way pretty much all flywheels work is that you need a tool that will push against centre bit thats holding onto the flywheel, and at the same time pull the flywheel away from the engine using 2 bolts that screw into the two holes oppisite each other on the flywheel.
i found the easiest way to do this was to get a flat peice of strong metal, drill two holes in the plate and put two equal bolts through the plate into the flywheel, then wedge a slightly shorter boltbetween the plate and the centre of the flywheel, this way when you tighten the two bolts, the flywheel is pulled from the engine,

hope you can make some sense from that

mate i think wedging the flywheel from the engine might not be the best way, im sure somebody you kno would have enough skills to make you a simple flywheel puller,
its best to take it out the way it was designed to, and not risk bending or snapping the flywheel in half

i got my flywheel off by using 2 flat screw drivers on each side of the flywheel and carefully prying it off. U dont have to go crazy trying to get it off just use a bit of force and be careful not to damage the magnets. The first time is always the hardest :x

are the magnets the two silver squares on the flywheel?
what do they do?
What happens if they get damaged?

i found a way to get it off, use a pair of tyre pliars

legine, yes the mags are the 2 silver separate squares.
these little mags help the coil produce the needed spark.
if these mags get damaged or the other section of the flywheel is damaged you may need to buy a new one. and if you stick to using tyre levers to prior off the flywheel you will be in need for more than a new flywheel.

RD RACING- how would you suggest to get the flywheel off

if you don,t have a jaw puller or simular puller you can use 2 timber wedges like what is used to hold a house door open, you need to tap both the wedges in between the flywheel and the crankcase, these wedges must be opposite each other so when tapping these in, the flywheel will have even pressure. the idea is to get as much pressure [force] on the flywheel for this next proceedure to work. you need to give the side of the flywheel a light firm tap with a hammer but please also use a small piece of wood touching the flywheel so you don,t damage the flywheel [no metal to metal contact] you will know when the flywheel has broken its tight seal from the crankshaft end as you will hear a slight pop. as long as you have good pressure applied by using the wedges and give a good firm tap with the hammer, the flywheel will come loose, with no damage done. if you don,t have any named tools for this you can take your engine to either a motor vehicle / bike workshop or a mower shop and ask i would please take the wheel off for you, i would think this could be done for free as the time to remove the wheel would take about one minute. best of luck.

same thing happened to me get 2 flat heads and give it some man handling
