Hey, just wonderung if anyone has fitted a full circle crankshaft and if so what gains did they get and also how much machining was required to fit it?

Our FC Cranks are available machining req'd is minimal and RPM's increased from 13000-15800

I came accross them tonight on the carter race engine website which got me thinking

You'll also be pleased to note that they are actually stroker cranks which are +3mm increasing your cc's if you have a 44mm Piston its
3.1416 x (44/2) x (44/2) x 36 then divide by 1000 = 54.7cc

I would if you didn't lift the barrel :lol:
Fitting a full circle crank is not a job for a novice.
You need to space the barrel to suit
There is little to gain if you don't port it and run a real reed cage etc.

I'm now thinking of changing the head aswell, looking at the pbu headstrong kit, i already have a reed cage fitted,

do you mean a real reed cage (with 2 seperate reeds) or a stock type of one with dual stage CF reeds?
and are the dellorto copies any good?
