what spark plugs do you use?

hey guys, was just wondering what spark plugs you all run? (if you're willing to tell that is )

my bike's still got the factory plug on it and was told that thats a piece of crap. i'm going to change it but after doing some reading i'm left wondering what to change it to :?

i've been told to use either a (all ngk) bm6a, bpmr4a, b95egv, b8es or a br8eix????? also - which champion plugs are good? or do I steer clear of them?

now I've no idea as to which one to use (the most common one i've heard of is the 6a - and thats what most chainsaws and wippersnippers use) so any advice on what works, perfornace gains (with reference to other mods) and problems would be greatly appreciated.

cheers, andrew

ngk are the goods.
either use a bm6a or bm7a or bmp6a or bmp7a
the 6's are hotter i think
the ones with 'p' in their name are projected and slightly raise compression.
i use a bm6a...works fine.

as for mods... there are thousands of things to do. im in the middle of porting carb, head, crankcase, rejetting, custom reed setup, mods to the stock pipe and a few other things... i'll write up exactly what ive done when im finished and tested the bike. But this wont be for another week or 2. look on pocketbikeplannet.com forums....u need to sign up but the amount of info is amazing..

Spark Plugs

Rule of thumb is Stock mid range plug BM6A the higher you go in COMP the hotter you can use BUT!!!!!! Fuel needs to burn hotter as well so if your not sure mid range plugs will save detonation

Nipondenso IRW24

It's an 8 in the NGK range , but it's Iriduim so it doesn't foul.

A colder plug is better (to a point)

I was wondering about ordering a new spark plug online, they don't have codes after the name just either Standard (STD) or the NGK ones. Does that matter?
