Acceleration Issues

I have a problem with my cag 49cc pcoket bike, it starts fine and idles sweet but if i ride i and give it full throttle straight away, it seems to die but if i slowly increase the throttle it wont.

I have pulled the stock cag carby off and cleaned it, cleaned the fuel lines and filter and everything seems to be good, im still running the stock black air filter on it.

Any help please ?

check your spark plug to see if its running to lean look on the porcelain insulator tip it should be brown or black if its clean and white then its to lean and if that's the case you need a bigger jet in your carby

If it's bogging down/dying when you accerate, I doubt it will be running lean...

Take off the air filter man. The stock air filters block a bit of air from coming through, so yeah, take it off and give it another go then...

Or like I said before, try a smaller main jet.

ill take my spark plug off and check it out, if i put my pod filter on, will that make a better difference as i have one laying around somewhere
