how are you starting it man, choke on or off and is it getting the requred fuel ? You can take off the spark plug and connect it to the ignition wire and turn the motor over, if it sparks then ur coil should be fine.

To make sure it has spark, unscrew the spark plug and put it on the head/barrel. Give it another couple of pulls and see if the spark plug is sparking. If not, then take the pull starter off and loosen the 2 allen key bolts holding the coil on, side a business card in between the coil and the flywheel and re-tighten. Put it the fly wheel back on and test again. If you still don't have spark, get yourself a BM7A spark plug (only if the barrel is stock) and then try again.
