| | | Cag Performance Questions
Hello,
Im relativly new to pocket bikes, and i just want to know what else i can do to my pocket bike to get it working 150%
I have a Cag with:
Performance Carbie
Performance Exhaust
On the way i have:
Full Circle Crank
Big Bore kit with 2 boost ports
Performance Clutch
Fibre Reeds
After those mods, what else can i do to get my bike working 150%?
Also, on a side note - How hard is it to get the full circle crank aligned?
I Dont want to pay someone to do it, so if i just take my time can it be done at home?
Thanks

Take a caliper and measure what size the venturi is. If not 14mm, you need to drill it. See what your needle is set on (5 settings), make sure your manifold/ reed cage is a little bigger than carb venturi. Make sure there is no drag in brakes and proper alignment of chain (not too tight), dont know what exhaust you have so I can`t comment. The stock exhaust works great as long as you modify it. jet sizes you can play with and I like 72 but try 68 and the 3rd setting on needle. Run 50:1. Remove gasket for jug. Once I get back into mine I will be able to remember everything i did as I am going to build another one. I will post pics and probably do Live webcam. Alot of mods depend on what type of riding you do. Don`t know what jug your getting so I cant comment on window porting with that one. Knife your case and crank. along with rod. Lighten flywheel.

Thanks | hahaha, don't worry buddy, I didn't understand much of that either.. When you get your big bore kit, you will want to change your gearing, if you want the bike for street riding, you will want to go bigger sprocket on the front, smaller on the rear... I ran 7 - 62 on my cag which had big bore kit and stuff, but it topped out kinda quick...

jug = cylinder or you call it barrel?
venturi = where air goes through carb and the air filter bolts to
chamber = bid round weird thing (like body organ) in exhaust
silencer = tip (muffler) , remove that and use straight pipe
