Key Assembly Repair

I recently purchased a bike from SD SCOOTERS...the ZR PRO, Well I was riding today and noticed that my bike would not start after several attempts...then I notice that I had somehow lost my entire key assembly...keys and all. Now I am left with two wires, a green ground wire, and a black wire with a white stripe that I'm guessing is positive? Do you guys know any way I can bypass this or ground it out somehow so that I can start my bike?

whups thought it was a mid bike before - looks like a cag. cant even get onto that SD website :S

never seen a cag with a keyswitch before. or is it just a little dead mans switch like some of the new ones have? youd probably need to replace it with another switch. if you just short em out you wont have a way to turn the thing off again

couldnt you just twist them together, start your bike, then when u wanna turn it off, just pull them apart?

ok got a little bit of an update...the ground has to be grounded...the other wire im not sure about. But I can get the bike to start, it idles with the choke on, but when I turn the choke off and give it gas
1) the engine smokes from the front, which it has never done before and
2) when I give it throttle, it barely has any power, then it dies
I located the key assembly and I;m going to tryy and resolder it tomorrow and see if that works
