Carbie Flooding?

So, no one can work out the problem. Here it is:

I have no power in the bike. I can putt along, but there is no bottom -> mid, but when I get going, top is okay, but it just has no bottom around corners, and same problem. Just no power in the bike.

It seems like the carbie is flooding, as when I am nearly out of petrol, the bike flies like a f*****r, and just goes awesome for half a lap or whatever, then obviously, dies because it runs out of fuel.

Also noticed today, is that when I start it up after coming in briefly, it seems to take off as if I have the accelerator on, as if there is fuel getting through.

I dunno. We have tried everything. Same problem with 2 carbies. I'm thinking there is a problem with the accelerator cable...

Thoughts?

No doubt, it's a cag, Driver. Blata 2.5 copy.

My opinion is clean carby. Easily done. use wd40. and give it a good squirt...take it all apart and squirt it through

( when you've changed 2 Carb's before and its still the same problem ...)
... is the tank ventilation " open" ?
... fuel-filter in the right way and not " closed" ?

- otherwise proof the needle- valve, maybe it hooked and a few little rubber from the rubber fuel-seal, after the Gasoline shut-off valve , blocked it ? ( and then it got to much fuel inside )

...

Remote diagnostics are little difficult...

Salut

Sorry guys. It's a CAG with a delorto.

It's not the pin.
There is no blockage.
It's not the ventilation.
It's not the fuel filter.

everything is tight on it. I don't know why the fuel line would matter, since it has been running perfectly before with the same fuel line.

I still think the accelerator cable might have a problem.

try putting some sort of sealant on your intake manifold before putting your carbie on. If its an sha 14/14 copy they can have issues sealing. One time i was given a manifold with a carb that was actually too short to seal properly so check that its long enough so that it actually reaches the rubber seal inside.
