boost bottle manifold

hey i just bought a boost bottle and didnt really pay much attention to which way the manifold was when i took the stock 1 off.
should it be tilted up or down??
does it even matter?
can some1 please help me out. thanx

also are they any good? do they give any more power?
also should i run it in without the bottle first or wat???

they tilt up so the carb sits level

boost bottles are supposed to give slightly better throttle response & slightly less lag when snapping back open the throttle after backing off for a corner etc...

as for do they work im unsure how well the cag ones work but a old tin tank yz80 model had a similer boost box factory fitted to them, but more along the design line of a juice box (search for ADA juice box)

they must not have been too effective otherwise you would see them factory fitted to 90% of fully fledged race 2 stroke MotoX bikes
