the load is applied by a disc brake assembly. the load applied to the roller from the brake is measured in feet/pound. i am in bayswater. if people want a run, pm me and i will try and organise a time. im not sure on price, as i havnt thought about it.
the dyno is very handy for tuning the bikes.
