Ideas to install 49cc cag motor on my mountain bike

Hey everyone.
Iv got a pocket bike here that i got cheap and im a bit over so iv decided that i would like to pull the engine and other parts off of it and try and use it to power my mountain bike.

Iv seen kits you can buy on ebay for about $200 that come with everything you need including a 66cc aircooled engine but i figure seeing as iv got a motor here as well as chain and spare links, throttle assembly, kill switch, rear cog etc i may as well give it a try.

at the momeent im really not sure how im going to do it. has anyone got any ideas how this could be done or possibly pics from someone who may of done it already?

should be a fun ride if i can getit to come together ok.. im even considering riding it to work to save on fuel..lol..

cheers guys!

you will need to mount a sprocket to the non sprocket side of the rear wheel so you can still peddle & freewheel along while the engine is running

other things you may need are a longer chain & a small fueltank as a pocket bike one is a bit big & nasty looking to mount to your mountian bike

but as long as engine & rear sprocket front sprocket alingment are good its pretty straight forward make a engine mount & mount the engine so its not in the way just do a mock mount up before you go too far to make sure pipe & engine are not in your way to ride safely

unsure what gearing you should use tho
