Going for the Aussie flag across your bike would look real nice otherwise some kind of a colour scheme based on the Southern Cross could be cool too. Maybe you could combine them ?

That'd be good. You don't need and blue for the southern cross anyway  Just cut the stars from some white contact and stick'em in the right spots.
