| | Changing a Fuel Filter
I know its probably a silly question but I am a female...lol I have bought a new fuel filter for my sons bike and I need to take the old fuel filter off. Do I just gently pull both ends off then fit the new one on, it doesn't seem to have any clamps or anything, does it all just fit nicely together again? I'm a single mum but I am a little bit but jst a little bit mechanically inclined, i'd like to have a go myself. If someone could kindly give me a little help I'd appreciate it, thanks

G'day Love . Haven't seen a Girl on these Forum's before. Well I don't know much about Fuel Filter's but I think that would work, and then just put the new one in.

Yeah it should be a straight fit. If you have any hose clamp's around the house just clamp both ends to be sure it wont leak. if you dont have any, supercheap or any auto / hardware store has some for cheap cheap. some fuel filter's will have a arrow pointing what way the fuel should run. so just make sure if it has one it is pointing down to the carbi so the duel run's forward through the arrow if you get that heh.

| | | Fitting a fuel filter!
Fitting the fuel filter is simple, just do what you suggested, but i recommend that you get some hose clamps or cable ties on the two lines that run into the filter. So that it doesn't come loose and fuel goes everywhere!

Make sure you put the fliter on the right way around.
That is with the arrow pointing to hose going to the carbeurettor.
