exhaust header/exhaust/throttle question

Hey guys.. Havent used this forum in a while it looks mighty fine..


I have a ye old 1994 JR50 (Suzuki) I cracked exhaust expanction chamber bit where it bolts onto the engine i want to know will a exhaust from oz mini moto probably the cag/lucky sevon one bolt right in?? or should i buy the header cut the stock pipe weld it then bolt it on?? Its going to cost me 100 dollars for full new plastics and the exhaust from the suzuki dealer is 140 buks without the muffler... so any ideas??

Also the throttle is kind of hard and farked so i need a repalcement for cheap. will any fit that you's know of? any help apreiciated guys cheers

would you think runing the cag or whatever expanction chamber on the 50 will make any difference? Im not paying 140 dollars for a genuine one

not really .... you can weld your own but .... have you got an A in maths ,,, that might help .. with pressures and when it will hit powerband

I don't get what you are talking about but anyway. Yes i did get a A.

stick to genuine parts if you want your bike to preform well or take it with the broken pieces if you still have them and have a new header piece made and welded on get a quote im sure it will be cheaper than a new pipe

If your talking about where the pipe breaking off it's own flange that bolts to the engine. for example the actual flange was still bolted to the engine but the pipe had snapped off it. Why don't you just get out some steel (assuming the pipe is steel) and make yourself a new flange. Tidy up the metal where it broke and reweld that sucker

jsut make a plate the sdame as the old one and weld that on ur exhaust
then bolt on !
