Dellorto Replica Carby from Ozminimoto

I bought one of these carby's from Ozminimoto about 2 weeks ago and i have had no problems with it until yesterday when i was riding along and then the engine stalled. I had a look to see what the problem was and i found that the carby had cracked in half where it mounts onto the manifold. Has anyone ever had this problem is it a common thing and does anyone know about a warranty on this item as its only 2 weeks old and its already stuffed. And i will have to get a whole new carby cause its all one piece and i cant just replace the mount. Any help would be greatly appriceated.

also you only have to tighten the 14/14 reps the tiniest bit just enough so it is tight no more, if you do any morer very big chance of them cracking, my mate has been through like 5!

Thanks for the help guys, i contacted Ozminimoto and they are going to send a replacment one out which was very kind of them. I'll make sure not to tighten the next one so much as i think this was the problem as people have told me.

thats good to hear. also make sure the carby isnt touching the frame anywhere, this also cause stress and when the bike is running the frame vibrates and can also snap it.
