CAG 47CC bike stalls out when given full throttle.

Hey guys, I have a CAG 47CC pocket bike, and it was running great up until this morning when it started to stall when i tried to go a bit faster. Im doing the break-in at this stage so im running 25:1 fuel/oil. Could this just be a fouled spark plug?

any insight? thanks

Check these out
1/Spark plug
2/Clean your air filter, it may be allowing enough air in.
3/ fuel filter 'isnt' allowing enough fuel threw, its common that the fuel tanks has crap in it and will block up you fule system. Clean out the tank.
4/ Your choke may be stuck on.

I forgot to add check that all nuts and bolts are tight on the carby and manifolds, you dont want any air leaks.

Yeah it sounds like you either have a fuel delivery problem(partially blocked fuel line/filter) or a air leak in the carby manifold.A friend of mine had a similar problem and he had a cracked manifold.Replaced it and all was well. Also make sure the H/T coil lead is tight on the spark plug.Hope this helps

Check you clutch adjustment as well. You may be just running out power curve.

Alright, well last night we checked everything, fuel filter SEEMED to be fine, took the whole carb out and took it apart and cleaned it. The fuel tap seemed to have some gunk in it, i also put the jet back to where it was when the bike was working originally. Slapped it back together, hooked the fuel tank directly up to the bike without the fuel filter to test and it chugged at first but then spun right up, no bogging on full throttle. Took it for a spin and it was good as new. Lets hope it stays that way, the bike took a crash last week, so im hoping it doesnt have a cracked manifold somewhere.

what type of clutch do you have? Read previous forum posts, as this has been posted numerous times.
