anywhere from 16 to 17 rpms is good to me. you guys know your calculations quite well. but now comes the harder question. as you have noticed this engine is only reving very slow and the pipe is working quite good, what would happen to this pipe setting if the revs increased alot higher ? would you have to cut or lengthen this pipe to keep with the close setting ?

Ok, that is actually the dumbest post ever, longer pipes are for more bottem end, so you'd shorten the pipe to let the axhaust keep working as revs increase.
