Clutch - centre bolt!

Hey guys I have a problem removing the centre bolt off the clutch.
I searched the forums and have read ideas such as using a rattle gun, heat and tapping it a bit. Ive tried all these but I still cant get the bugger off.

I used a socket piece on the eand of a drill to act like a rattle gun.

Ive pretty much threaded the bolt now and cant get a real grip.

Im even having doubts of if it can even come off.

heres some pics to get an idea.

if you are replacing the same type of clutch you can leave this center unit on. to remove this total you should fit a matching bolt to one of the 3 bolt holes and use one of the case ribs for an anchor so the unit doesn,t turn whilst undoing this bolt head. if you have stripped the bolt head you need to use a pair of vise grips, this tool will do this job. answer in advance to ; how do i remove the clutch unit. once this center bolt is out and you dont have a puller you can use say one of the clutch housing bolts as used by the anchor method but you must line up one of the small round lugs which are on the rib sections of inner case area [ like in pics ] this lug will line up with the fitted bolt when you turn the flywheel by hand slowly whilst watching carefully, when you found this you can then apply pressure by allen key until you hear pop, goes the unit.

Success! I used the vice grip to get the bolt off, and i would never of thought of using another bolt to pop out the clutch unit.

hey well i tryed all that n wen i was undoing it with the vice grips i thort i got the bolt out but realli it snaped in side of it

were you undoing this bolt [ anti clockwise ] or in a [ clockwise ] direction?

Ok, get some WD-40 and spray alittle bit on and around the bolt , let it sit for about 10-15mins to let it sink in, then get a HEX ring spanner and try it then, (HEX ring spanners are the best for stripped bolts the grab hold very well) and last resort would be to use some LOck JAw pliers as it will grip and grab, but only use it if nessercery
