| | F1 watercooled vs Z1 watercooled
hey guys,
by the end of the year im gonna get a new bike, im lookin for a track bike thats reliable, cheap, powerful, easy to fix if sumthing goes wrong, easy to get parts for and over all competitive.
ive lokked hard n long but found 2 that i like and having a hard time deciding witch 1. theres the ozminimoto F1 watercooled and the all balls pocket racing Z1. this is not a competition between companies but i would like sumthing good as a first watercooled.
if anyone has info or if anyone has owned these biked i would like to know there ups and downs.
thanks Stell

havn't you herd, Z1 is the fastest Chinese bike out of china. The quality of this bike is much better, they have improved everything over the other chinese brands like blata, banshee and 911 reps. At the price its at, it is very cheap for a fast chinese bike. The reviews on this bike have been all positive, i have rode one but i am use to the banshee but from what i have experienced its better then the banshee, so its alot better and also has better handling. Also its BZM rep, so you can buy quality parts and alot of them. You can get alot of parts for these bikes because alot of things fit on it. It is a great started race bike if you want to go out and have a little fun.

well i have a had a b1 & my mate has a z1 so i can give you a totally unbiased opinion
1st the b1
the frame & swing arm on these bike are not jigged very well at all at best if you front & rear wheel are close to being in line you have done pretty good wich causes the chain to come off if not addressed
the engine in these bikes are not to bad they go pretty good for a 40cc & with a decant carb they can challenge most chinese bikes
you will need to move the water bottle to a better spot as it resticts movement in the handle bars
the brakes are what you'd expect from a chinese bike they work but you will need to cjhange the levers asap as they just flex to much
the front end is pretty dtrong & can take a few good crashes & not bend as to can the fairings , although in saying that the seat cowl will brake if you flip it ovewer backwards
the main draw back with thewse bikes are you cannot get the oem parts for them but i believe that will change soon as oz minimoto will be importing the oem blata's very soon
all in all these bikes sell for around $500 new & i'd say that is pretty good value
2nd the z1
these bike are pretty quick of the box but they really havn't been around long enough to be properly sorted from the factory
my friend has one so i can only tell you the problem he has incountred to date
the first time he rode the bike the air filter snapped off as the chain was to short & didn't allow enough room
wich in turn caused him to crash where the foot peg bracket bent both sides & 1 peg broke
this also broke the top part of the fairing
the brakes need to be looked t as he cannot get them to work very good at all & the rear pads have falled out twice
also the water bottal needs to be moved to a better spot as it restricts movement of the hamdle bars
the swingarm to where the axle bolt goes through has been slotted so after a few chain adjustments is has come open & now allows the wheel to move
you can get oem parts from the ZPF which will fit & also you can put other engines in such as ZPF Bi Zeta or Polini & this gives you a greater range of choice
so the choice is really up to you i have also had a dream bike rep & currently own a banchee if you would like a run down on them 2 bikes
