| | | Gauges for a Stock 49cc 2 Stroke Pocket Bike
Would it be possible to install a couple of gauges on a Ducati M3 Pocket bike? Its a 2 stroke and is 49cc. I want to install a speedometer, and an rpm gauge if possible. If you know what to do please post a reply. If you think this is possible, please provide a website or link from where i can buy some gauges. Thanks

you can get a spedo from any bike store. you just have to set the diameter of your wheel
As for tacho, I've been looking around for electronic ones that just read from the coil and you can buy them for about $30?
both will be excelent for helping you to tune

yeah i found one on ebay but it only goes up to 9999 for the max rpm, i thought about using just a normal bike speedo (since the motor is going on a bmx)
i was hoping there was a single system that would do it all.
I know i can get a digital bike speedo that will do:
Speed
Max Speed
Avg Speed
Distance traveled
Total distance traveled
Knowing the max speed i can then calculate that the tire size and the gears will give me enough data to get my rpm but it would be cool to have the rpm at a glance as well.
I have a bet with my uncle that i can get my bike to hold 80kmph, i dont mind coming across as a ****** about it just to be a smartarse.

you can get a trailtech vapour for $150 which is a speedo temp gauge and RPM meter. they look pretty good and should do what you want
tachs are usually more then $30. i got a PZ racing one for about 50 or 60 and thats the cheapest i could find. all the cheaper ones dont have a recall function which is pretty useless for tuning really.

BUT! pocketbikes unlimited have a 19k one for $70 US, not sure how much posted... CLICK ME!!!
and spedo's are cheap, so you'll be able to get away with speed and rev reasonable cheap! | | | |
