| | | What is the best Chinese Watercooled?
Just wondering what the best chinese water cooled bike is ? as my dad is going to the trade fair in china in april. He already recieves products from china regularly and t would be no problem to get a few bikes thrown in. I could prob even hook something up with people on here if there was interest.

1. Banshee SHO - Why? 5 port polini copied engine in a copied GRC frame - the strongest I reckon by far - its what I chose to put my 15HP polini engine in to. Handling is great as well and all Euro parts fit on them. (ZPF, Polini, GRC) Engine is a 50cc 5 port engine & comes with a two shoe adjustable clutch as well. They fly! Below is 2 links to what mine ended up looking like. http://www.users.on.net/~razz0r/clip...astbanshee.jpg http://www.users.on.net/~razz0r/clips/joe/bike1.jpg
2. Balat rep aka C1. 40cc engine - not sure of the ports - I think 3 port. not many performance parts at all - frames good tho. From memory the engine & carbys can be a little dodgy and need a little bit of work. Great option for STOCK class racing.
3. Dream rep (polini copy) 3 port 39cc engine. Nice handling bike - but stock needs a fair bit done to keep up to the likes of the blata & banshee bikes. But once they are going well with a good pipe & setup - they fly. Again they take all polini euor parts & you can also slot in a banshee engine or actual polini, ZPF engine parts & parts in general for the frame.
I have rated these in order of best performance out of the box. For parts & performance options I'd be choosing the banshee SHO first & then the dream rep.
PM me when you find out who much you could get a banshee for - I may be intrested :P maybe - other wise talk to Oz minimoto (Site supporter) or Carter racing about balat's & dream rep bikes |

If you go on a Canadian site most people I know favor the Dreambike Rep (Polini 911 rep). For many reasons though. Guy who owns the shop said this:
Just my opinion,
The 911 does need a few mods (pipe, clutch). After you wake up the motor with the mods she is the best rep
Not to mention all the available parts for the 911 and of course the 50cc head kits available.
Because it is a midi and because of the quality and handling I would always take a 911. I could find a hundred people who favor this bike aswell including me!

ever see and banshee next to a dream rep?
banshee kills it in everyway - frame strenth & everything else as well - for that bit extra you already get a 50cc polini copied engine that kills the dream rep - but like you said - out of the box the dream rep needs work - a fair bit of it as well. Also I know the frame on the dream rep gets torque twists (alittle) - banshee frame being stronger dont seem to have this issue. but hell - its all about what you like I know many dudes that have the dreams and they really fly!! good handling on them when I had ago on one. but stock my banshee was killing guys that had done work to their dreams reps - mainly coz they are 39cc & only 3 port. still tho - good feed back bcrich |

I did see a banshee drag (race) a 911. This guy bought this banshee from someone for 1200 USED. Suppose to be totally modded out and putting out 15 HP. The 911 had a 20mm Mikuni, PBU Pipe, and PBU Clutch. And with its 3 port 39cc it KILLED the banshee. But your right out of the box the banshee is mor powerful.

Theres No Way The 911 Only had Those Mods and Beat the Banshee, Maybe In Acceleration But not In all. If So the banshee Mustn't Have been running right, as a 50cc 5 Port Engine With mods, Craps on a 39cc 3 Port.

The banshee was running fine, guy said it ran like snot but didn't seem to impressed when he got beat, not only in azccleration, this was a long drag strip. Keep in mind we don't know what "Mods" the banshee had. The guy said it was modded to ****.

littlescottie's right - the banshee would not have been running right - maybe not jetted correctly, the clutch might not have been setup right to come in before band & the gearing will play in these tests as weill body weight.
With mine - when I got the polini engine in - I was at first 3.8 second slower then my stock banshee engine was. re-jeited & green carbon reeds & fix when the clutch was hooking up got me 3.5 second UNDER when it was with the stock engine. But before I rejeited it & got the new reeds - it ran fine?? wouldn't have known what it was unless Carter racing fixed it Clutch's should kick in just before band comes in. So any of these things above could have caused it to not run right - but yes - the banshee kills the dream
just remember when reading about racers and such there is lots that comes in to play. | | |
