Can you adjust jetting on a stock carb!!

I have the F1 pocket bike carb, I am a little lean as I have ported the head. can I richen the mixture somehow without buying a new carb??? Jets are as much as a new good carb. so If I spend the $$ I'll just get a new carb. Can you raise the needle or bore the jet??? I have all the machine tools to do it. but am not sure if this is what others have had sucess with. Also there was a Walbro carb that is adjustable on ebay, is this a good one??? Any thoughts are appreciated

RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
you can drill out the venturi bore to 14mm or 9/16inch then flair out the outer venturi to 19mm max using a grinding cone, you can either buy a pack of jets or drill out your existing jet to size 72 and then adjust the main needle until you get the right setting for your engine. if needed i have a pic showing how to flair the venturi.

for sure I would love the pic. size 72 you say, what drill size is that?? Also if I bore out the carb do I go right through?? will the stock slide be big enough?? (the slide attached to your throttle cable) I was just thinking the bore can't be bigger than that slide right? thx for your help in advance bro.

jet size 72 is machine drill no 72, you can drill right through the carb with a 9/16 inch bit and match the intake manifold to suit.
