how long do they last b4 they go flat??
i would rather buy a $500 pocket bike that runs on fuel, rather than a $400 electric which will be power-less

Hi teamcurlee,
Electric bikes can beat fuel powered bikes but do run out of power with in one race.
At Sth Morang there is a maxi electric bike with four batterys, it absolutly killed the other maxi bikes.
So it didn`t score any points but was great to watch.
I prefer petrol powered bikes, like the F1 Blata copy.
Thanks Dazza

At 100% charge it's capable of 90H.P.I believe it races at 50-55%.The "TEAM ROOST"bike is truely incredible to watch going around the track at lightning speed while not making a sound.Quite pricy though at $400-$700 per battery(you need 5-6 of them)to charge,i don't know?
PURE.

yeahi googled for PBs the other day and an electric motor mod came up as a first hit. it was about 2 grand for the motor. very pricey i thought, and the same with RC cars I'd think. you wouldn't get much race time but it would probably fly when it's going.
