Walbro Orentation

Hey everyone,

Does the little prime nipple on a walbro carb go up towards the tank or to the ground!?.. I have mine going up and well I have gas going through and the bike can be turned on and idles.. It even has a crisp responce to the gas but once i'm pas 1/3 on the throttle it bogs.. I've tried messing with the high pin over and over again .. But no luck

brother had the same prob, he flushed it and then it was sweet. Primer bulb to the top (Y), make sure your purge hole in the manifold lines up with the one on the carby

RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
try tuning the walbro like this, set the low needle at 1 1/2 turns out and the high needle at 1 turn out, start your engine, you may need to adjust the low needle a bit to get it started. once running turn the low needle until your engine idles as low as possible. make sure your bike is on a stand with the rear wheel off the ground, now adjust the high needle to obtain maximum revs then back off the high needle 1/16 turn. this should sort the tuning problem out for you. by the way it is wise to have another person holding the bike and front brake on whilst tuning this way,[safety]
