You need to unbolt the barrel/head from the motor.

The bit the piston goes up and down in is the barrel , the bit the spark plug screws into is the head. They are one piece on the air cooled motors.

Undo the 4 bolts, the exhaust, the spark plug cap and pull the barrel off.

The piston will flop out conected by a "connecting rod" .

In the middle of the piston the is a steel pin going through it. It has a C clip at each end to stop the pin coming out.

You then need to measure the size of the piston, calipers will do but a ruler can do it . It will be 40mm or 44mm across. Tip the piston at an angle to the rod an put the ruler under the skirt of the piston. You should be able to pick if it's 40 or 44mm.

Then you need to measure the pin in the piston . It will be either 10mm or 12mm .

Let Ozscoot know what these to measurements are and he can supply the right part the first time.

yes mate there are the wheel bearings but there are most definately bearings in your engine. Your bottom end will have a number of bearings in it, probably ball bearings. How do u think the crankshaft spins dummie :P:P
