Pricing Wars

Just for the record, prices are lowered at our store when we can get them cheaper so the savings are passed on to the consumer. If your not happy paying less then we're happy to charge big bucks like some other suppliers.

I find it hard to believe that someone would complain about prices falling, its an economical fact that when the USD drops and the AUD rises we're able to pass on the savings.

i don't anyones complianing about the prices falling, and i'm sure all of us appreciate the guys out there that aren't trying to make themselves filthy rich and maybe even help the sport along a bit!
it takes people/businesses like that to show up the rip-off merchants

sorry carter and ozscoot, I wasn't trying to use you guys as an example of people that charge too much  (I've checked out both of your sites and find your prices quite reasonable) you two were just the first names that popped into my head as you're both companies that I know.

The point I was trying to raise was that it always seems that when something is available at one place it always costs more, once it becomes more easily available, prices inevitably become lower

oh and I wasn't complaining about prices dropping - I'm all for cheaper parts for my bike!!

Prices

Dilly no offence taken, the concept of making a fortune from this industry elludes me truly, in fact when you work out the USD on parts and Shipping we're lucky to make 10% on some items. I'm in this for the long haul and guy's like you should in fact complain to your local supplier if he's not doing the right thing by you. You and guys like you ensure that the industry keeps pumping i'm more than happy to deal directly with you if need be even if it's just for a chat.

Regards

Gillberg we all have issues with PR but dont go stabbing yaself in the foot just for the hell of it I too have been shopping between Moto Scoot and PR and am always on the website getting the latest prices between the 2 and I am getting quality parts from a place a lot closer to home than PR pricing depends on amount of goods you purchase am i right there Carter and Oz if you buy in bulk then you get a discount which then gets passed onto the average Joe I do understand what ya saying about the time it gets to get served at PR but hey there is a lot of people there on a Saturday Night breaking stuff and wanting it fixed ASAP most are not very mechanically minded and the tips and suggestions they get from the guys goes a long way and yes before you read through my previous posts and say hey what about all the sledging you gave PR before well I have come to relise that I might have gone off a bit early in the piece we just have to remember that they were a go kart track and hired karts not PB's this is all new to them also and I guess they are trying their best

Mark get a shop opened up here in Brissy south side preferably would be nice ASAP I wll even volanteer my time on weekends to help you out because trust me when I say this we need a good shop with quality aftermarket parts and also stock bits here

Gillberg I dont know if you have ever gone down to PR on a weekday but the service is a lot better and you can chat to them and ask advice they are willing to help anyone out they can

Hey tell me to pull my head in if ya like I arent trying to stir the pot like i said I also have issues with this mob but I guess I am looking at the bigger picture now

Next thing Mark what is a bike like stephs worth could just be the thing i need for a fat *** like mine to carry me around the track so my kid doesnt have all the fun

Parts and there cost

hi, parts cost varied amounts, due to what the wholesaler has paid for them and also supply and demand.
i know for example 18 mm dell`orto carby.
Pocket Racer $175.00
Carter racing $239.00
GRCmoto_australia $194.00
BUT see if any of them have stock. pocket racer have none so the price doesn`t matter.
Carter has them in three days i`ve been told.
GRC i haven`t tried.
www.midsouthminimoto.com an american site sells them for $124.20 US
but no stock.
so if you need it you pay for it.
Thanks Dazza
