Euro bike Reliabilty and parts cost.

I am not sure how many time this has been brought up and I apologize if it has been repeated several hundred times. I would kindly appreciate it if some one can direct me to a previous thread.

I am totally new to this and have never owned an Euro. I am considering purchasing something standard (not race prep) however I would like to ask about the reliability issues between a DM, GRC and ZPF pbs.

How do the three compare? Is one better over the other? How often do parts break down/ or have to be replaced? Parts value for money wise which is better. Which one cost more money parts wise and cost more to maintain.

What are some of the common issues with Euro bikes and what are the most common parts that need to replaced.

I am after something reliable, I don't want to have to worry about things/parts breaking down like them Chinese bikes, and don't want to have to worry about spending too much money on service and replacing parts to often.

I don't mind spending premium money on a good quality product that will last me a while, but not if it breaks down on a regular basis.

For example I was reading that the 3 shoe BZM clutch or clutch pad would eat away at the bell (forgot which clutch). So when replacing the shoes you would also have to replace the bell every time the pads wear out. (correct me if I am wrong).

Looking for some great advice from people who have first hand experience. Much appreciated.

Cheers

Swee
