Hey guys new here

Hey glad i found this website because i have just started working on this bike i got from a friend andso far things are good but could be better.

Names Mario and from Sydney Australia , Love it here

I know its to early to ask but i got a question and i feel like and idiot asking but iam going to ask it anyway.

I have this Bike which i think is a 49cc. Goes OK but not the best, I just brought a brand new Carby from ebay
Which is This one

Now it does fit but only lets me use one screw to tighten the carby onto the engine.

The oringal had a square type filter which i cant find anyway to replace.

Now as you see in that picture you have the Pink hose, does that go stright to the fuel tank?

Because at the moment what i have now is the Old Carby that has a square filter(Which is now there) its got 2 hoses that both go under the Fuel Tank which one i has a Fuel Filter at the end of it which is placed inside the Fuel Tank and the other is just inside the fuel tank.

Now Do both hoses need to go into the Fuel Tank? or just the One? if so is that Pink Hose that comes with my new carbie is that the Main hose i use to have the fuel flowing into the carby?

Iam really stuck at that point.

Also where can i get a fuel filter from? because when i took it out it was small so any ideas would be great.

If i havent sense ill be more then happy the take pics and post them to you guys so you can see what i have.

Thank You
Mario

If the carb doesn't fit, you probably got the wrong carb.

Did your old carb look like this one..

If it did.. you can only replace it with the exact same one cheaply.. the other is for a different pocketbike..

that carb doesn't require a fuel line that you got, but wont fit anyway..
to hook the fuel line up the the square/rectangle original carb.. just hook the fuel line up to the carb that has the filter in-line & pump the nozzle.. Then just see which way the fuel is pumping, if its pumping the fuel back towards the fueltank, it goes to the other one the other one... It'l be a lot easier with the right carby..
