yes thats right another noobie! ya'll prolly hate noobs cuz they ask the same damn questions over and over. im bout to buy the gpmx3 from daytonas minipocketrockets. im just gunna drive there and pick it up the next day im off work and save the 60 bucks shipping. OK so the question is wat should the first mod be? intake and exhaust? thats wat im thinking. i have read sum forum threads on here, the FATBOY seems like its the most popular, but where can i purchase these items?

In my view it depends on how you intend to ride it.... if ya racing the bugger be prepared to put a lot of doe and time into her! But if ya just standard riding around but want to give her a real squirt now and then then a Stage 2 kit should be more than enough to get you flying! Stage 3 is a big step up! And requires a lot of work to get it singing!

Go with a stage 2.... It will be the best! It should set ya back no more than $250.... The Stage 3 is a $100 more....

But remember the Gpmx3 is a pretty standard pocket bike.... I to have one.... I intend to 'practice' on it until I have the recourses to step up and race....

Good luck bro!

I run that pipe on my 40cc cag with standard carb and it's a great all round package. Not good for outright power but good pull from low down off the slower corners and the motor currently has over 4000 km on the push bike speedo!!!

I've had my cag for 7 years and only had elite bikes for 1 year!!

The little cag will teach you more about corner speed than any elite bike ever will.

Sorry bout the late reply.... I noticed a large gain at lower rpms and at full blast.... I could feel the difference even when I swapped the stock pipe back on....

The first change I made was yes the fuel line and filter.... High flow line and filter is a must! and is pretty cheap to do.... although I went over board and got a custom filter from ryco that cost me $30.... you can get the same flow rate from a stock high flow filter for no more than $10.... the only problem I found with the line was that it tended to bend due to the heat from the head.... so a small spring around the line stopped that (should not be needed.... I just had the line a bit too long) better than the stock line as it deteriorates pretty quick....

let me know if ya need anything else!

be sure to check out Pocket Bike Parts - 49cc Aircooled Engine Performance Parts for easy and cheap kits....
