tyre and air problems

hey guyz just got a new tyre but whilst putting the tyre on rim the tube got stabbed and there4 has a hole in it ive found it really hard to get the tyre on the rim is it possible to use a tubless valve and use no tube the tyre i have says tubeless so will the tyre sit on the bead of the rim and hold air need help asap ..........
