bike goes full throttle then half throttle for no reason

Hey guys,

I have this Baja SB-50RD mini bike that I just got for a very good price. I have tried it out and when I hit full throttle it goes for a second then starts to bog out at about half throttle. The speedometer shows that its going about 10mph but it can max out at "30". I thought it could be a governer or bad fuel so i opened it up and found no governor and the fuel seemed ok. Fuel lines look ok and I also opened up the carb and everything looks really good; i even sprayd some cleaner in it to verify. Does anyone know things i can do to enhance the speed of this bike? Thank you for the assistance.

Not sure on the type of bike you are talking about..can you post a picture of the bike.There a usually heaps of mods you can do to get a bike going faster

my best bet is an air leak, had it happen to my cag... try making sure all your head bolts and things are tight and make sure the carbi is sealing properly.. good luck and post some pics
